Why Tiproll exists

Since October 2024 the law has been clear: tips belong to the people who earn them. But many of the tools built for it are aimed at bigger operators, and plenty of small venues still split the pot in a spreadsheet, rounding as they go, with a policy that lives in someone's head.

Most owners want to do it right. They just don't have time to read a statutory Code of Practice, design a consultation, and keep three years of tidy records on top of running a business. So we built the thing that does it with them.

What we believe

• Fairness should be visible. If staff can see how their share was worked out, the arguments stop.
• Every penny counts. Our allocation maths is exact, tested, and adds up to the pot every time.
• Anonymous means anonymous. We built consultation so that nobody (including us) can tell who said what.
• Your records are yours. Cancel any time; you keep read-only access for three years.
• Honest about what we are. Software, templates and information, not a law firm. We link to our sources and tell you when to call Acas.
